The Paper Dolls is a Chinese horror movie that came out in 2023 in the language of chinese mandarin. This movie goes by multiple titles, see the end of my post for elaboration. How I watched:  Tubi For the short of it: A journalist researches the truth behind the deadly paper doll folklore. The long of it? Have your clean set of chonies handy... Lovely day to have eyes, I tell ya what. This is why it pays off to have a cool looking movie poster because this absolutely stuck out to my ADHD ass for my next viewing and boy oh boy I am totes glad I did choose this. So this movie is centered around a journalist named Lu Xiaosheng who is researching the folklore surrounding paper dolls whom has the superstition one's soul can be inhabited post mortem. Some 20 years ago there was an old tale connecting the Qiao family and these paper dolls with a very frightening and murderous history. Legend says that a family member used a paper doll to murder father dearest. Lu Xiaosheng

How I watched: Tubi Update: Yo, I will be posting more of the hella disturbing picks when it comes to horror movies starting today, every Tuesday. It will be known as Terrible Tuesdays . Sound cheesy? COPE. For the short of it: This movie is about 4 women who travel to a small town and become the targets of a grotesque father and son with a very disturbing legacy and inflict horror upon these women. The long of it? Aye dios mio There was a period where I got straight up frustrated with the "horror" selections at my disposal when trying to view my next horror movie. As I've thoroughly stated before that I seek out recommendations from either other blogs and Reddit threads, more often than no

Thanks for reading!  Taking place in the wastelands referred in the movie as...The Wastelands, this movie centers on a nameless dude referred as The Dude. Nah, just kidding. The Kid. The Kid is our main character and is all he is called for the remainder of the movie. Anyways, he

Image
Welcome to Hell is an Argentinian horror movie that came out in 2022 in the language of Spanish. How I watched: Tubi For the short of it: This movie is about a woman who becomes impregnated from a member of a satanic death metal band and she...doesn't vibe with that. The long of it? This whole movie, at least for a good chunk of this movie, is presented in a non-linear timeline. First off, the movie's first scene shows a bloodied pregnant young woman tied up to a cross whimpering and crying as a masked man is performing a satantic ritual with a blade in hand. Aaaand insert the clip "Yeah, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got here* Presented before us is the events leading up to that point with some random out of timeline sequences flashes in between. Easy to pick up on but not exactly my cup of tea. So that young woman whom is heavily pregnant is Lucia. She currently lives with just her mute grandma in the middle of fucking nowhe
