Movies I Refuse to Watch

Yo. Just because I grew up on horror movies that doesn't mean I don't have limits. I know I can handle more than my better half but maybe that's not saying much. However, here is a list that I will straight up refuse to watch. I'm sure there is way more but these are at least ones I have came across.

"Junko"/"Concrete"

I used to be into watching true crime content but not so much these days because of cases like Junko Furuta. I find it in bad taste to watch the exploitation of anything surrounding her death in movies or otherwise. Shit, I felt bad watching a monetized true crime YouTube video on it as it is. So much of that Junko Furuta case is just disturbing and the so little punishment the killers got. So infuriating. I don't need to be reminded of that. As far as I know there are 2 movies inspired by the case therefore, refuse to watch. This has also made me regret watching/posting Angst last year.

"Midori"

I've only seen this discussed in threads and mentioned in Youtube videos as one of the most disturbing animated movies ever made. Even though this is animated, the fact that there is graphic depictions of sexual assault on a child plus what some have described of a pet stomping scene. Hell naw. At first, I thought this was an internationally banned movie that got destroyed but apparently not. I've seen reviews of a lot of people who have seen it and I don't intend on being one of them. I know there some non graphic clips on Youtube and that's as far as I have gone. Not interested.

"Trauma" (2017)

I actually tried watching this particular Chilean horror movie, but only made it to about 1/3 of the way before I noped the fuck out of it. Too soul crushing for me, thanks. Update: Well, I was in the mood to have my soul crushed and I ended up watching the movie albeit skipping 1 brief revolting scene. Already posted. Check it.

"Slaughtered Vomit Dolls"

I've read up a lot on Lucifer Valentine and the associated movies along with some very disturbing articles and controversy concerning that dude. It's disgusting. It's a no from me, dawg.

"A Serbian Film"

Self explanatory if you have already seen the movie. I have not and never will and this is coming from someone who has watched Martyrs, and Grotesque. People have spoiled the movie and I also sought out reading the synopsis, which I never do but curiosity got the best of me but I'm still too chicken shit to watch the movie for myself. I am extremely disgusted at the description of the pedo scenes. Doesn't matter how "fake" it looks but it's the sheer point of the implication of those particular scenes I find extremely repulsive to entertain watching in a movie. I get the main point and the message behind the movie as a whole but any depictions of sexual assault of children just gets an eternal hell no for me.

Lowest Level of the Disturbing Movies Iceberg

Used to have an explanation here but the original Iceberg I linked here got removed. Also, taste is subjective and many custom Icebergs I've browsed since are expectantly varied. To be frank, I am not a fan of Wendigoon's video on the Iceberg as his fearmongering claims have long been debunked. Don't know why everyone seems to hold that dude to high esteem. That's how far charisma gets you these days...Former fan here so I know the feel.
