Cat Sick Blues is an Australian horror movie that came out in 2015 in the language of English.

How I watched: Rental via Amazon Video

For the short of it: Guy with a few screws loose kills women in the name of his precious floofy.

The long of it? Holy hell.

I honestly don't know where to begin. I actually came across this movie from a Reddit thread and the name itself sounded pretty intriguing for a horror movie. However, I couldn't seem to find it ANYWHERE, I even had it on my to-watch list for months hoping it would be added to some legit streaming sites (my pirating days are long behind me) so I just sucked it up and rented it on Amazon. Wasn't even costly just $1.99 as the cheapest option.

But holy shit what a strange movie.

Cat Sick Blues centers around this man named Ted who has this toxic obsession with his deceased cat, Patrick. It's cool and all to love your cat but Ted takes this love to an unhealthy level of attachment towards his cat. He has a cat mask, cat gloves, he literally commishioned someone to even make a strap on human sized cat dick. What even is this shit?!

Needless to say, don't let this title fool you, sure as fuck not meant for kids, maybe even teenagers. This movie is hella wack.

However, let's continue.

Ted ends up coming across this viral cat named Imelda and seems to hold an interest to the owner, Claire, so he tracks her down to this grief group. The host of the group, strongarms newbies to share their story. Ted fumbles so he sits his ass down. Claire shares her story after him saying that a fan tracked her down and killed her cat and then sexually assaulted her.

After the meeting, Ted strikes up conversation with her and has his sights set on her for his own perversions. I'm not quite sure if I get this scene or if I am completely wrong on this but it looks like Ted was intending on murdering her that night but aborted mission when she cracks some dark humor at him so they just end up hooking up that night and that was that.

He proceeds to continue his murdering spree but lady then starts having an inkling once she overhears an eyewitness of what an unidentified killer was wearing that she remembered spotting in his room.

Things just get trippy and trippier from there.

This movie is an acquired taste for sure. Seems like someone would enjoy this while high idk but this movie is just so full of WTFs literally throughout this entire movie. 90 minutes of fuckery that I cannot get back. I spent actually money on this.

Not sure what much to say about this movie. One thing for sure, don't take this movie seriously. It just makes the enjoyment a little dank. The shoddy acting, lack of decent cinematography, plot is just...out of this world. The acting almost ruined the movie for me, honestly but it's just so silly. as some of these deaths doesn't even make sense Not to mention how vulgar is can be. Before tuning in, I didn't think it would be as sexually charged, I thought it would be more of just a deranged individual with a cat obsessession but holy fuck, these peeps do bring it up to the next level. Not sure if that is good or bad but it is what it is.

That being said, what is my verdict?

Felidae is a German animated thriller/horror film that came out in 1994 in the language of German. Based on the book of the same name by Akif Pirinçci that is part of a series. How I Watched:  Youtube   (Remember to click closed captioning)  English Dub  available if you don't want to read subs.  You know how you look back in your life and remember that one kids movie and still get taken aback how dark and scary it was? Oh, I doubt it was only one! A lot of kids movies especially from my time growing up in in the 90s there are PLENTY of dark themes to movies marketed to kids.
